Experience
Jo Natauri brings more than 27 years of experience across healthcare investing, operations, and investment banking. Prior to founding Invidia, Ms. Natauri was a Partner and the Global Head of Healthcare Private Investing at Goldman Sachs, where she held senior leadership roles beginning in 2006. In her role leading Healthcare Private Investing, Ms. Natauri was responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing healthcare investments across both Goldman Sachs’ balance sheet and its flagship private equity funds, including West Street Capital Partners VII, West Street Capital Partners VIII, and the China-U.S. Cooperation Fund. During her tenure, she invested over $9 billion of capital, built deep expertise across every major healthcare subsector, and played a central role in value creation and strategic direction across the healthcare portfolio.
Ms. Natauri served on and voted across multiple Investment Committees overseeing investment decisions and portfolio management for a number of Goldman Sachs-managed funds.
Before leading Healthcare Private Investing, Ms. Natauri was a senior partner in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division, where she served as Head of Healthcare Investment Banking Services. In this capacity, she advised on more than $250 billion of M&A transactions and executed over 100 financing and strategic transactions across the healthcare landscape.
Education
Ms. Natauri earned her BA in Economics and Biology from the University of Virginia. During her pre-med studies, Ms. Natauri discovered a deeper interest in the business aspects of healthcare that led her to explore a career in finance.
